The MediaTek Dimensity 820 is a Flagship ARM-based Mediatek 64-Bit Mobile Processor(SoC), launched on May 18, 2020. MediaTek Dimensity 820 Specification includes a powerful Octa-core CPU, built-in TSMC 7nm process technology, balances between 4 high-performance cores and 4 power-efficient cores (4x 2.6 GHz – Cortex-A76 and 4x 2 GHz – Cortex-A55).
It comes with MediaTek’s powerful MediaTek APU 3.0 (up to 4.5 TOPS performance). It supports 2133 MHz LPDDR4X RAM up to 16GB. In addition to the Octa-core CPU, the SoC comes with an integrated ARM Mali-G57 MC5.
The SoC also comes with a Mediatek 5G Modem (100 MHz bandwidth, 4×4 MIMO, 256QAM NR UL 2CC, 2×2 MIMO, 256QAM VoNR / EPS fallback) and Mediatek wireless system that supports Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.
It comes with MediaTek’s latest Imagiq ISP (Up to 80MP Single Camera and up to 32MP + 16MP Dual Camera Set-up), HyperEngine 2.0 for Gaming, and MiraVision for ultra-smooth display 2520 x 1080 @120Hz.
