MediaTek Dimensity 8000 Specification

The MediaTek Dimensity 8000 is a Flagship ARM-based Mediatek 64-Bit Mobile Processor(SoC), launched on March 1, 2022. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 Specification includes a powerful Octa-core CPU, built-in TSMC N5 5nm process technology, balances between 4 high-performance cores and 4 power-efficient cores (4x 2.75 GHz – Cortex-A78 and 4x 2 GHz – Cortex-A55).

It comes with Mediatek’s powerful 5th-generation AI processor, the MediaTek APU 580. It supports 3200 MHz LPDDR5 RAM up to 16GB. In addition to the Octa-core CPU, the SoC comes with an integrated Arm Mali-G610 GPU MC6.

The SoC also comes with a Mediatek 5G Modem (200MHz bandwidth, 4×4 MIMO, 256QAM NR UL 2CC, R16 UL Enhancement, 2×2 MIMO, 256QAM VoNR / EPS fallback) and Mediatek wireless system that supports Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

It comes with Mediatek’s latest Imagiq 780 ISP, HyperEngine 5.0 for Gaming, MediaTek 5th Generation APU 580 (2.5X faster than previous generation Dimensity Processor ) and MiraVision 780 for ultra-smooth display (168Hz Full HD+ display support).
