Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Specification

MediaTek has launched its new mobile processor, the Dimensity 7200, under the newly launched Dimensity 7000 series. The Dimensity 7200 is a mid-range ARM-based custom-designed 64-bit mobile processor launched on February 16, 2023. MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Specification includes a powerful Octa-core CPU, built-in  TSMC 4nm second-generation process technology (Same as Dimensity 9000), balances between 2 high-performance cores and 6 power-efficient cores (2x Arm Cortex-A715 up to 2.8GHz and 6x Arm Cortex-A510).

It comes with MediaTek’s powerful MediaTek APU 650 (up to 4.5 TOPS performance). It supports 2133 MHz LPDDR4/5 RAM up to 16GB and UFS 3.1 Storage. In addition to the Octa-core CPU, the SoC comes with an integrated Arm Mali-G610 MC4 with MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0.

The Dimensity 7200 comes with a Mediatek integrated 5G modem, supporting 2CC Carrier Aggregation and Dual 5G SIM with dual VoNR. This fully integrated 5G modem and MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave 2.0 technology suite ensure best-in-class cellular power efficiency.

This New Processor also features MediaTek’s Imagiq 765 (14-bit HDR-ISP), capable of supporting up to 200MP in a single camera and dual-camera configurations of 32MP + 32MP. This chipset enables users to capture impressive video content, including 4K HDR video, and even supports simultaneous content capture from two cameras at Full HD resolution. The chipset also incorporates all-pixel autofocus technology, which ensures that everything stays in focus during the capture process.

In terms of display support, the Dimensity 7200 comes with MiraVision 765 and can handle Full HD+ / 144Hz / Global HDR, ensuring a smooth and responsive visual experience. Additionally, the SoC supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, providing fast and reliable wireless connectivity.

The Dimensity 7200 benchmark scores are impressive in various tests. The Dimensity 7200 Antutu Score is 802255. In Dimensity 7200 Geekbench Score, (a benchmark that measures CPU performance) the score for Single-Core is 836 and the Multi-Core score is 2313.
